Abstract

The synthesis and luminescence properties of tunable 3D arrays of quantum dots were investigated. The preparation of the QD multilayers was carried out by micrometer-sized domains created by NSL with polystyrene masks. The deposition of multilayers caused a monotonic but nonlinear increase in film emission intensity. Larger spaces lead to lower emission intensities, suggesting that the QD packing densities for longer chain dithiol bridging molecule is lower.
